Checked every night
We pull new postings overnight so your morning email is current.
How it works
Set it up once. Check your inbox every morning.
Step 1: Tell us your trades and where in Texas you work
Pick from HVAC, roofing, janitorial, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, painting and more. Choose the whole state or just your region. It takes about two minutes.
Step 2: Every night we check SAM.gov and the Texas ESBD
We look for new postings that match your trades and your area, and skip the ones that don't.
Step 3: At 7am you get one email with only the bids that fit
Each bid comes with a short "should I bid?" summary: the scope, the catch, and whether it looks worth your time.
What you get
Built for contractors, not procurement experts.
You run a business. Finding government work shouldn't be a second job.
Federal and Texas in one email
SAM.gov and the Texas ESBD, together. No more logging into two sites to check.
Only your trade and area
You pick your trades and your part of Texas. We leave out everything else.
"Should I bid?" summaries
A plain-English read on every bid: what the work is, what the catch is, and whether it looks worth your time.
Set-aside aware
Set-aside bids (HUB, SDVOSB, 8(a), WOSB and others) only show up if you hold that certification.

FAQ
Common questions
Which bids do you cover?
Federal contract opportunities posted on SAM.gov for work in Texas, and state bids posted on the Texas Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD). We focus on facilities trades: HVAC, roofing, janitorial, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, painting and similar work. We don't cover city or county portals yet.
Do I need to be registered on SAM.gov?
Not to use BidDawn. To actually submit a bid on federal work, you will generally need an active SAM.gov registration, which is free. Texas state bids may require a vendor registration with the state. Each solicitation spells out its own requirements, so always check the posting itself.
What does the AI summary do?
It gives you a quick read on each bid: what the work is, anything that looks like a catch (tight deadline, bonding, site visit, set-aside), and whether it seems worth your time. It is a starting point, not a substitute for reading the full solicitation before you bid.
What happens after the free trial?
Your trial lasts 14 days and you don't need a card to start. After that, BidDawn is $49 per month. If it isn't useful, just let it lapse.
Can I change my trades or areas later?
Yes. Sign in and update them in your settings whenever you like. The next morning's email will use your new choices.
How do I cancel or unsubscribe?
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or email hello@biddawnalerts.com and we'll take care of it. No phone call needed.
